The Medical Writer is responsible for developing high-quality regulatory and clinical documentation, publications, and communications to support the development and marketing of medical devices and In Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs).

- Master or advanced degree in a scientific, medical, or life sciences field.
- Previous experience in a medical writing role or clinical operations role in the medical device or IVD field and/or willingness to follow medical writing training.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (EU MDR, IVDR, FDA) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to interpret and present clinical and scientific data clearly and concisely, without unnecessary complexity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reference management software.
- Strong attention to detail, while keeping the overview.
- Good time management and organizational skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop, write and edit regulatory documents and technical documentation for medical devices and IVDs.
- Develop, write and edit documents for clinical studies for medical devices and IVDs.
- Write scientific publications and communications documents related to medical devices and IVDs.
- Ensure all documents are compliant with relevant regulations, industry standards, client agreements and Lorentis’ procedures.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and customer contacts to gather and interpret input for the documents and ensure alignment on regulatory strategy.
- Deliver within the agreed timelines and budget.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and medical writing best practices.
- Contribute to development and continuous improvement of Lorentis medical writing processes and templates.
